The Park People

OVER THE PAST 50 YEARS, The Park People has completed over 50 projects in the parks and recreation system.  We have supported residents in planting more than 60,000 trees, providing more than $60 million in community benefits.  And we have engaged with thousands of Denverites to actively shape our urban landscape and support our environment.

As our community grows rapidly and our climate changes, we at The Park People know we need to do even more to support the trees that shelter us and the parks that support our healthy.

Please support us as we step into our next 50 years supporting the health and livability of our communities.  Should you wish to discuss a special capacity-generating gift, please contact Kim@TheParkPeople.org or 303-722-6262.  Thank you.

WARM THANKS to all who joined us at our September event to celebrate 50 years of impact supporting Denver's parks, recreation resources, open space, and urban forest!  Our generous community raised more than $200,000 in celebration of this amazing milestone!  The proceeds will help fund the health and livability of our urban communities for years to come.

The Park People is a nonprofit organization that works with communities to plant trees and improve parks for a healthy, resilient future.

Since 1969, we have infused millions of dollars into Denver’s parks and recreation system and planted more than 60,000 trees that provide over $60 million in community benefits through Denver Digs Trees and our other urban forestry programs.
