Volunteer Opportunity: Tree Care Email Monitoring (at-home option)

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Monitoring Tree Care Email. This opportunity is open to Community Foresters.
Would you like to volunteer with The Park People from the comfort of your home?
Community Foresters are needed to provide support in the spring and fall (the busiest times) to residents by accessing The Park People’s “treecare@theparkpeople.org” email inbox & responding to tree care questions for community members. The expectation is for volunteers to access the inbox 2-3 times weekly and answer questions via email.
Volunteers will be trained on how to determine a “likely issue” using pictures, diagnostic procedures, and resources provided by TPP staff and communicate reasonable steps for tree care for the community member.
Spring Session: Begin April, End in July
Fall Session: Begin August, End in November
This opportunity can be done at The Park People’s office OR from home.
