Volunteer Opportunity: Site Inspections for Street Trees (in-person training available)

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: We’re looking for Site Inspectors! This opportunity is open to Community Foresters and Tree Stewards (folks who have completed 2 or more Community Forester workshops).
Site Inspectors play a crucial role in bringing more street trees to our neighborhoods. By visiting properties and helping determine whether sites are approved for planting, Site Inspectors ensure trees are placed where they can thrive and make a lasting impact.
We’re hosting a Site Inspection Training for Community Foresters, Tree Stewards, and experienced Site Inspectors. Help us inspect and approve planting sites for up to 200 street trees! This training will include information on Tree Spacing Regulations for the public right-of-way, guidance for resident communication and supporting materials to use in the field.
The deadline for completed Site Inspection packets is March 20. Please sign up by February 19.
**This training is required for new Site Inspectors and suggested as a refresher for experienced Site Inspectors.
