How drought impacts food production and Colorado communities

Colorado State University researchers in the College of Agricultural Sciences are working to optimize water usage by collaborating with farmers on irrigation efficiency, developing drought-resistant crops and testing alternative crops or crop rotations. They’re also studying the economic impacts of decreased water availability and ways to make farms, ranches and communities more resilient.
