Register for Workshops

The Basics

Community Forester Workshops are open to anyone with an interest in trees! We are a small non-profit and volunteers are essential to our work. As such, we prioritize those who commit to volunteering with us. When you register for a Community Forester Workshop, you’ll see two different pricing structures that reflect this – the volunteer track ($25/workshop) and the standard ($65/workshop).

Committed volunteers become Tree Stewards after completing just two classes. Complete all five workshops and you will receive your Community Forester badge and vest. As a Tree Steward or Community Forester, you’ll join a growing and diverse group of people working to plant and care for trees throughout Denver. You’ll also receive priority and exclusive volunteer opportunities, both solo and in groups, in the office and in the field. We hope you’ll become a Park People ambassador in your community and we know you’ll contribute meaningfully to our vision of thriving green communities for all!

Workshop Schedule

You may take any number of workshops and do not have to take them in order, but you must take Trees 101 first. It is required before enrolling in any other workshop in this series. View workshop descriptions here.
