Mile High Tree Champions Planting

October 24 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Group of 18+ volunteers in red t-shirts smile and present a newly planted tree in a park on a sunny day

Mile High Tree Champions are companies that invest a small amount of funding and some good old sweat equity to help enhance Denver’s urban tree canopy and improve Denver’s green infrastructure.

Snell & Wilmer is our Mile High Tree Champion for this event, and company volunteers will be trained in proper tree planting and then plant 20+ young trees at Barnum Park in Denver.

Mile High Tree Champions investment not only benefits the city’s green efforts, but also is a fun and inspiring experience.  Participants in the Mile High Tree Champions Program gain a sense of  accomplishment, knowing they have had a direct impact on their local environment and feeling empowered by a unique day of team building.

These events are not open to the public, but we welcome The Park People’s trained Community Forester volunteers to help lead small planting groups, to ensure proper tree planting practice.

If you’re a Community Forester and would like to sign up to volunteer at an upcoming MHTC event, please SIGN UP HERE.
