Ways to Give

Support from the community is critical to the success and sustainability of The Park People. On average, more than a quarter of our funding each year comes from individuals who make one-time or repeat donations.  Each gift is an important contribution to the health, vibrancy, and sustainability of our community.

Every gift makes an impact!  For example, providing a tree for a family in need costs us $150.

Donate Today to have your gift doubled!  In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, MDC/Richmond American Homes Foundation and an anonymous donor have generously offered a $20,000 matching fund to support our Denver Digs Trees program.  Your gift helps us provide free and low-cost trees to residents, including those in Denver's low-canopy neighborhoods.  Please help us leverage this important opportunity to support a healthy and sustainable future for our communities!

Planned Giving

One of the most unique things about The Park People is the level of commitment of our supporters. Throughout our history we have been deeply honored to receive bequests, often unexpected, from our friends in the community. Please contact Executive Director Kim Yuan-Farrell at if you are interested in joining our legacy group of individuals who have pledged to include us in their estate plans.

Invest in Capital Projects

The Park People spearheads capital projects of various sizes and scopes in Denver's parks and recreation system. These projects have historically included restoring existing park and recreation amenities like Cheesman Pavilion and the Washington Park Boathouse, or new structures like the Gates Tennis Center. If you are interested in making a contribution to our most recent capital project, the restoration of the Cranmer Park Sundial and Plaza, visit or contact us for more information.
