DESCRIPTION:The Park People is supporting a collaborative effort to plant a pocket forest at Marie L Greenwood Elementary School in Montbello. The Nature Conservancy and the Trust for Public Land are working with the school and other partner organizations to enhance STEM education and nature-based learning. \nOur energetic volunteer community has been invited to participate in planting the pocket forest in a special community event\, Saturday\, October 11.
