“1,000 Eyeballs” Orientation to Postering for Denver Digs Trees

Tuesday, December 16 @ 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm
A small poster advertising Denver Digs Trees is tacked to a bulletin board, surrounded by colorful post it notes

VOLUNTEER EVENT — It’s almost that time of year again — time to spread the word about  Denver Digs Trees! Denver Digs Trees is of course The Park People’s big annual tree distribution to Denverites, and January is the time to apply for low-cost and free trees. We’ll be distributing some 1,500 Denver Digs trees in April, but folks can’t apply and grow our urban forest if they don’t know how to get those baby trees!

Make it a goal to catch 1,000 eyeballs on our 2026 Denver Digs Trees posters. More eyeballs means more people learn about how to apply for low-cost and free trees. Helping spread the word to community members about applying for Denver Digs Trees is one of the single most impactful ways you can volunteer with The Park People. Four volunteer hours spent hanging posters at local businesses means that hundreds can Denverites will learn about how to apply for a beautiful shade tree.

Attend our short and simple orientation for tips on postering, plus pick up materials.
